Alison Doody

Alison Doody, born 11 November 1966 in Ireland, is an actress and model. Her debut came in the Bond film, A View to a Kill in 1985. She starred in 1989 as an archaeologist with Nazi sympathies Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. There were also roles for Siobhan Dovan in A Prayer for the Dying (1987) Charlotte in Taffin (1988) as well as Rebecca Flannery in Major League II (1994). Doody started modeling after being approached by an experienced photographer. The result was a successful modeling career in the commercial world. Doody stringently avoided glamour and naked work, a rule that allowed her to pursue an acting profession. After catching the eye of the director of casting in an upcoming James Bond movie, she participated of A View to a Kill in the role of Jenny Flex. Doody was listed within John Willis Screen World's Vol. 3 as being one of the 12 top actors in 1986. 38. Doody is only 18 when she played Doody in A Prayer for the Dying (1987) which starred Mickey Rourke. She is the tiniest Bond girl who has a name to her. In 1987, Mickey Rourke starred in A Prayer for the Dying in which she played IRA member Siobhan Doovan. Doody was an actress in silent films in a 1987 film adaptation from The Secret Garden, playing Archibald Craven's dream wife Lilias. The Storyteller episode from 1988 featured her in the lead part in Sapsorrow, alongside John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. The actress starred alongside Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Elsa Schneider, an Austrian Nazi sympathizer and an archaeologist from the forensic field in the 1989 movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody has worked with three James Bond actors. In the year 1991, Doody was co-starring with Jonathan Pryce in British mini-series Selling Hitler inspired by the published fraud known as The Hitler Diaries. The actress later relocated to Hollywood. The actress later became Flannery Charlie Sheen's agent as well as her girlfriend for Major League II. She had been chosen as the replacement for Cybill Shepherd who had been L'Oreal's spokesperson. Doody was a part of The 2003 British comedy The Actors. Michael Caine portrayed her at a ceremony for an award. In 2004, Doody starred in a scene with Patrick Swayze alongside a TV adaptation to King Solomon's Mines. Also, she appeared as a character in Benjamin's Struggle (2005), a pamphlet describing the Holocaust. Doody made an appearance on Danny Dyer 2010's The Rapture. Later, she guest-starred in RTE's Medical thriller The Clinic. She was scheduled to also play the lead role in an adaptation in 2011 of the classic horror film The Asphyx. However, the project was ultimately canceled. The actress began her two seasons of the E4 comedy Beaver Falls in 2011 as Pam Jefferson. She was a part of We Still Kill the Old Way, a 2014 film. The Almeria Tierra de Film Award was presented to her on the 21st of November the 21st of November, 2018. She also received one of the stars on the Almeria Walk Of Fame.
